Dead-Hold BDC MOA Reticle

  • Customized dot design helps eliminate guesswork on holdover and windage corrections. Good for hunting/shooting at varying ranges where estimating holdover is a concern.
  • Second focal plane (SFP) reticles are located near the scope’s eyepiece behind the image erecting and magnifying lenses. This style of reticle does not visually change in size when you change the magnification. The advantage of an SFP reticle is that it always maintains the same appearance.

    finally got to test fire new gun with this new scope. The clarity and brightness (light transmission) of this scope is far better than two other manufacturers that I have. I have a revolution in 3.5-10x50 and a vx-3L in 3.5-10x50. The diamond back beats them both! I am now looking at the viper 22 specific model for both my kids guns. I am sold on this brand now. 4th shot and gun was zeroed in and shot several other rounds to confirm zero had held; and it had. While I wish this scope had a little more zoom range (maybe out to 12 or 14 for target shooting), practically speaking, the zoom range is really all I need in my rather thick forest. I do recommend that you purchase the vortex scope caps at the time of purchase. I could not find butler creeks to fit and then had to order them from my local gun shop and wait for them to come in. If you order the better cap that vortex offers (with stainless steel springs), they too will have lifetime warranty.
    So, you can't beat their warranty, I found clarity and workmanship to be at the same level of my higher end vx-3L, aluminum caps for turrets, flip caps with the same lifetime warranty, smooth functioning zoom and it holds zero. To top it all off, this will ring the register for far less than other scopes and never let you down. Should ANYTHING happen to it, don't sweat it, because it is covered by a lifetime warranty. Sure, you will have to live without it for a while. But knowing that it won't cost you anything other than your original purchase price to get it fixed/replaced? That is peace of mind in my book. Thanks Vortex! I'll be back again for sure.

    I mounted the Vortex Diamondback 3.5–10×50 on my Winchester Model 70 in .270 WSM using medium‑height Warne Maxima rings, and the setup came together perfectly. The glass is clear, it was easy to sight in, and even at 3.5× magnification I can clearly see my target hits. I haven’t tested it in low light yet, but so far the performance has been excellent.

    I chose the Diamondback because of the price point and felt it was a great match for a rifle I don’t shoot very often. After getting it mounted and out to the range, I’m genuinely pleased with the purchase.

    Received the item but noticed that the lens cover was a off brand cover , I would rate it a 5 star but I think it must have been a returned item and they just threw in a off brand lens cover. Also there is no contact seller information so I can have them to send me the correct cover. I also believe they should have sold this as a used item and gave a big price discount!!!
